Home Chef is a online cooking tutorials website. This website is for everyone who loves cooking at home. Home Chef’s goal is to make user find cooking tutorials fun and easy, for every home cook.

Navigation
Cooking tutorial website designs are often busy, which results in confusing navigation
Filter
Cooking tutorial don’t provide clear filter for people with food allergy
Difficulty
Cooking tutorial don’t provide clear levels of difficulty, new home cooks are hard to follow

Design a Home Chef website to be user friendly by providing clear navigation and offering a better filter function.

Low-fidelity prototype
Using the completed set of digital wireframes, I created a low-fidelity prototype. The primary user flow I connected was subscription, so the prototype could be used in a usability study.
High-fidelity prototype
The final high-fidelity prototype presented clear user flows for subscription. It also show the flows of viewing the menu and informations.

Takeaway
I learned that the satisfaction level of users are the most important. Just one small change can make a huge different.
Overview
Daily Nutrition is a community health care organization focused on health and nutrition informations. The organization need a tool that helps people learn about calories intake and nutrition informations. Daily Nutrition primary target users include everyone who would like to learn more about nutrition informations.

Peoples are hard to access nutrition information when they eat out

Nutrition information usually usually present in list format, it’s hard to check on mobile device

Peoples have hard time keep track the nutrition information and the calorie consumption

I learned that no matter how good the intentions of the project, the bottom line is reaching uses needs, pay attention and listen to users is the key.

Gourmet Restaurant is a local fine dining restaurant located in the metropolitan area. Gourmet Restaurant provide fine food and wine experience for diners. Gourmet Restaurant target customers are foodies who enjoy fine dining experience.
